Family Changes

Family Changes

For those returned customers that over the years got to know the owners, Art and Judy, you were sadly made aware that 2019 was not a good health year for the family.  Early 2019, my dad, Art fell very ill.  Many complications led to the discovery of advanced dementia.  We were left devastated.  Our hero, husband and father, was just not able to be himself anymore.  We knew we had to step up big time to fill the shoes this one man carried.  Over the years he had trained his grandson, Kenneth, to man the field when he wasn't feeling himself but...being the stubborn man he was...he didn't get to show him everything. He could only do the best he knew how...and he did it well.  Thank you Kenneth for being there when times were tough. We made it through because of you.

So here I am, daughter of Art Ebert, doing my best to step up and carry on my father's legacy.  Carry on his pride and love to have such a great field to offer to the public.  He might have been a quiet man but he loved seeing the smiling faces each year.  Made him actually laugh when kids came in from the field covered in a blueberry smile.  Honestly is a great sight to see.

Thank you all for your care and support you have provided my family over the last year.  It has been overwhelming and very supportive.  My mom and dad have needed it.  Words cannot express my gratitude to you all.
